They do indeed come with five diminutive dividers as shown but I had to add two more in order to have a compartment for each item.

Michael
Where did you find these dividers? Are they generic enough to be used in other bags?

Sorry, I don't mean to detract from your original post.

And can you take some pictures of that and how you have that set up? I always have it just hanging free on my sling strap (just like in the image above....yes it held perfectly despite only using one connector - I can't seem to figure out how to use both with the sling strap, so I just leave it connected to only one side...not sure if that's how it's supposed to be done).
Here is how I roll in the field (note the dual Peak Design clips):

Also just out of curiosity....as a Nikon Pro, do you find yourself leaving the D800 kit at home a lot in lieu of the K-3 kit for none other than the obvious reason - Nikon has no equivalent offering, especially for the size.
I'm definitely in love these days with the DA* 60-250mm. If I had only one lens to take anywhere, this would be it. And since it is attached to a Pentax K-3 I would take that too.

the dividers came with each OpTech USA Accessory Packs. Since I own several, it was no problem "moving them around" to fit the occasion.

Nice kit! BTW, about the Flashpoint Mini speedlite: which version did you get? Canon or Nikon? And I assume you use it in full manual mode, right? I'm looking for a light manual flash for macro, and this (aka the Meike MK-300 or 310) would seem to fit the bill pretty well...

I got the Nikon version as I also use a Nikon D800 as part of my kit.

Thanks! And just to be clear, that speedlite also works in manual mode with your K-3, right?

That's more weight than my 45acp on my hip.

Indeed....

...you can probably guess which one I most like to take along. The tripod mount seems to be overcompensating a bit...

This is my compact Pentax kit:

1 = Pentax DA Limited 21mm
2 = Pentax DA 16-45mm f/4
3 = Seagull Right Angle Viewfinder
4 = Pentax GPS Unit
5 = Pentax DA Limited 15mm
6 = Pentax DA Limited 70mm
7 = Pentax 1.4x Rear Converter
8 = generic remote shutter
9 = custom hot shoe flash extension
10 = Pentax lens hood for 16-45mm
11 = various step up rings
12 = Marumi Circular Polarizer 67mm
13 = Pentax Limited 35mm Macro
14 = Flashpoint (Meike) Mini Speedlight
15 = Pentax 50mm f/1.8
16 = OpTech USA 11” Accessory Pack
17 = OpTech USA Pro Strap

and what it looks like hanging from my shoulder (selfie via Pentax FluCard)

btw, this compact kit explains why I insist that my Pentax lenses be no bigger in diameter than 67mm. I find the compactness of this system remarkable. Thank you Pentax!
MJ I really like that pack but where did you get the padded inserts ?

Mine came in the mail today. I managed to stuff about 6 lenses in there and I could not believe how incredibly light the bag was. Of course I didn't put a 200mm or 300mm in there just some primes and my 16-45mm zoom, but it still feels much lighter than the current bag I was using, plus it keeps my lenses safe from scratching. The only thing I worry about is if I forget to zip up the zippers, that would be a complete disaster.

yes, this accessory pack packs nicely in my lightweight travel backpack. Generally when I an shooting my camera is always "out", hanging via an OpTech USA Sling Strap connected to my backpack's straps. In addition, the camera body firmly connected to my belt with a Peak Design Camera Pro clip.

Michael
Well, after reading your posts, I ordered the 11" OpTech accessory pack! It will be used to hold all my accessories, such as my ring light, battery charger, etc.

Looking forward to getting it Tuesday!
