Did the Beike sag with smaller lenses?

No, not at all! It has become one of my everyday tools - always attached to my monopod and my tripod. In the beginning, I was trying to use it with a very long, heavy lens (a Sears 60-300mm) that had no tripod collar. It put an enormous strain on the Beike that was simply asking too much of it. I tried it with my Pentax-K 400mm (WITH a tripod collar) and it worked fine. I can't imagine NOT having it now.
