Pentax K-3 USB 3.0 Tethering Cable

I do use the flu card whenever I'd like to tether, but I have to admit that I would love to be able to just connect a cable and my laptop to my K-3 and get things going. Every once in a while, I decide to torture myself by spending some time searching to see if anyone has developed a way to accomplish wired tethering with the K-3. My latest research has uncovered this cable, that I'm pretty sure is just a generic cable that won't really work or help me in my quest. But just in case, I thought I'd post it and get confirmation that this cable won't do anything other than let me connect my camera to my computer.

Has anyone else seen this before? Pentax K-3 USB 3.0 Tethering Cable Orange | Tether Talk

Looks like a spam blog to me. Unfortunately, there are no wired tethering solutions available for the K-3- though you can certainly use a USB3 cable to transfer files quicker than with a normal cable.

Amazon carries a tethering cable that looks the same. It is a generic cable for all cameras.

Amazon.com : Tether Tools TetherPro 15' USB 3.0 Male (Type A) to Micro (Type B) 5-Pin Cable, Hi-Visibility Orange : Computer Usb Cables : Camera & Photo

by the way, other than the shielding, what would be the difference between a standard USB 3 cable and a tethering cable. I can get a standard USB 3 cable for about $10 But a USB 3 tethering cable would cost nearly $50 or more.
