LCD Protector for K-3?

Hi,
I have a new K-3 and thought I'd invest in a decent quality LCD protector. B&H doesn't seem to have any available that are specific to the K-3, but does have some 3.2" glass and acrylic protectors for Canikon models.

Does anyone have any experience with or suggestions for a good LCD protection option? I've used the plastic stick-on stuff on my K-5, which protects the screen alright, but it's not great for viewing.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I own the ACMAXX LCD Armor and am pleased overall with its performance. What I am not pleased with is the process to get a set that actually fit properly. Here is a link to my review of the protector:

I'm one of those for whom the ACMAXX set for my K3 it right the first time (Purchased in July 2014). I also have one on my K7 since 2009. The screens themselves seem scratch resistant, so I haven't had to replace them.

Love the ACMAXX protectors for my K-5 & K-5iis. I plan on buying one for the K-3 as well. Was there a problem with getting the right ones? Anything I should know before I buy?

See my review. Sizing has been a problem for some users.

Count me in as another very happy customer of ACMAXX. I got it for the K10D I just bought. I bought the set, that included the cover for the top LCD, as well. The fit on both is perfect!

I'm using 3,2" version of this brand - http://static5.fotoskoda.cz/images/products/106376/2014-01-06-12-34-48-500-5...618888-s-m.jpg
Fits IMHO pretty well.

Thanks everyone for their counsel. I opted to try the ACMAXX and thought I'd get one for my K5 as well. If I remember, I'll post an update to the review once I have them working. Thanks again.

I can clearly recommend GGS brand. I have one with my K20D from the beginning. This product is a hardened glass type with very clever glue frame. The glue is only on the outside frame. Applying of it was easier than a piece of cake, no air bubbles no aligning problems. Fits perfectly. Does't change LCD colors or viewing angles. For all those years it caught only one scratch. The best
thing I could really get.

Thanks...I was intrigued by GGS (Schott glass, right?) but I didn't see any reference to anyone using one on a K-3.

This is how it looks on camera. I have it from the beginning. I don't know exactly what kind of glass it is. I am sure that some kind of hardened not tempered, though. I saw one broken and what I can tell it's laminated (glass+plastic). At least that's what I can say about k20d model. If they kept the same technology with k3 ones it should serve you well.

You will be very pleased with your choice. Don't forget that they have the dual protectors, for those cameras with the top LCD, as well.

To all who chimed in on this thread, thanks again for your helpfulness.

To close the loop, the ACMAXX protectors for the K-3 and K-5 arrived yesterday. I am pleased with the fit, the ease of installation, and the way that they look on the cameras (the silver-colored trim around the edges makes for a pretty polished look).

I haven't taken them outdoors to shoot yet so I'm not sure how well they help with glare control, but indoors the clarity of the camera display through the glass is very good. It's like looking at a naked LCD.

I'm very pleased. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
