Sad news. I too appreciated their superior quality over the import screens I also purchased. Found rachael to be delightful as well.

I ordered a screen for my K5 on the 25 of February and have been waiting patiently. At least I got my order "on the books" I'm very much looking forward to getting it.

Fingers crossed for you, Steve.

If they were in financial trouble, let's hope they can fulfil that order they took.

Thanks I'm not really that worried, their website says they're processing all the orders that they have. Given their reputation I expect to get one of the very last Katzeyes made.

Do they come with serial numbers? That may be a collectors item!

I think both of ours will be in the same batch by the sound of things. So fingers crossed for you and I both!

I was planning to make a Katzeye my first purchase after buying the K-FF, whenever it finally emerges.

I love my Katzeye for my K20d. I accidentally shorted out my AF system while mounting a lens, and decided to get a KE instead of having it repaired. My in-focus rate actually went up!

Good news. This is a terrific example of an excellent business - catering to the needs of a specialized community for a decade, and taking care of customers right up until the lights are turned off. I am sure we all wish the proprietor all the best in her future endeavours.

Happy days, now where's that spec for the Pentax FF so they can be working on a screen in advance of the launch.
