My fellow PentaxiansAdvice is needed!

I want to gauge first hand impression advice and faults if any on a

Kenko1.5X DG AF Teleconverters ,as the immortal Tamron MC 1.4 is as rare and pricey as a Rooster with teeth

Is it a good performer,sharp is it any good at all.All comment are highly regarded

It's noisy - physically that is. Mine sounds like you're torturing it putting it on and taking it off the body, and the AF screw is pretty loud too. It seemed a tad soft to me, but that truly could easily have just been me and not the camera; I haven't used it in a while and my overall shooting has improved a bit since then.

Here's a snap I fired off handheld back in April at the park with the 1.5 attached to my Tamron 75-300 @ 300mm, 1/160s, f/5.6 & ISO260. Range was around 100yds.
