Need a bag that fits a K3 and these two lenses etc.

Need a bag that will fit a K3, a Pentax 17-70, a Pentax 50-135, a spare battery, a 67mm polarizer, a remote, etc.

Not known if a grip will be needed so both types of options will be helpful.

Room for one small prime like a 35, 40, or a 50 would be nice but not essential.

I'm really fond of the Think Tank Retrospective 10. It'll hold 50-135mm on one side and the camera with a lens attached on the other. You'll even have room for other items.

you should atleast have a look at the BBK2 or BBK3 camera bags. They're cheap and kinda retro looking canvas bag that actually holds up to heavy rain.

I used a BBK2 bag on my recent trip to japan and it held up no dramas for a 'cheap chinesey' bag that cost around $40 with no degradation what so ever. I was very surprised it saw me out the whole trip when i was half expecting to have to replace it while on holidays.

When I get around to buying a Sigma 18-35 in the not too distant future it will be time to go up in size for a camera bag. A BBK3 or BBK4 (larger bags) will definately be considered for a cheap, durable and kinda cool looking bag

I just went mad trying to find a downsized pack/sling bag that I liked, after two were cancelled (only black in stock, no thx) i finally ordered a $5 partitioned insert that fits a pack I already own. That way I have a pack size I already like, and as a bonus it's a hydration pack!

The Kata GearPack 80-DL is pretty nifty. Despite being small and comfortable to carry around it fits a K-3ii, Sigma hotshoe flash, FA50mm, FA77mm, Sigma 70-200mm F2.8, Sigma 17-50mm, Sigma 10-20mm, 2 x 77mm filters, Cokin Grad filters and mount kit, portable hard drive, spare battery, rocket blower and battery charger. The external tripod straps aren't useful for tripods but will fit a full size Maglight.

Well, first off you need to decide what kind of bag you want, shoulder, backpack, sling?

The Clike elite Reporter is a good one. holds the gear and very comfy. It is a mix betwen a sling and a waistpack
Reporter | Shoulder Bags, Waist Packs | Clik Elite
as a backpack the Clik elite Venture 30 will fit your gear, or the Probody sport should fit it all aswell. Probody Sport | Backpacks, Outdoor Series | Clik Elite Venture 30 | Backpacks, Outdoor Series | Clik Elite

or from Fstop gear the Guru with a small ICU will fit it (if in doubt, the medium will fit it all for sure) Guru - Product

then from naneu there is the Alpha (L) Military Ops or the Urban gear U30n Urban Gear

I did this same thing - I bought a padded insert from Amazon for a messenger bag I already had...

USA Gear Deluxe SLR Zoom Camera & Gear Holster Bag reviews - Pentax Camera Accessory Review Database

+ holster system really protects camera from knocks, sits upright, side pockets comfortably accommodate 2 x med/largish lenses, works great I use every day, value for money.
- side pocket zip pulls break, no mesh pockets for lens caps, top lid a bit fiddly, interior "pockets" not really usable (I stash odd items to big for the front pocket loose in the bottom below the camera - in fact there's enough room there below my K5 + prime for my NX20 body).

I just picked up the Dolica DK-30 on ebay. Very well made and sturdy. A backpack that the straps can be adjusted to become a sling on either side. The DK-30 is the biggest and discontinued. I wanted it because it has a laptop compartment, but the smaller DK-20 and DK-10 are still available at many stores or on amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Dolica-DK-10-Travel-Camera-Backpack/dp/B002OEBJ7I

I will join you for the retrospective 10, maybe a retro 7 could also do. I like my "10", it holds my K-3 with grip and a 18-135 attached, a 55-300mm, a 10-20mm, a 50mm, my metz af-48 and all the small stuff like batteries, filters, and even my small fuji X30
