Looks like the price of the Manfroto 454 Micro rail has gone up. I purchased 2 of these about 5+ years ago and back then they were selling for about $65 if I remember correctly.

The good thing is that there are plenty of alternatives selling on eBay for a fraction of the price. Since my Manfroto's are in storage miles away, I just purchased 2 eBay clones for about $15 each.

They ship straight from China, but one of mine arrived in about 4 days. The quality is definitely not up to par with the Manfroto, but for the price they seem to work pretty good. I usually stack 2 of them up so I can have forward and lateral movement. The Manfroto are supposed to hold 17.7 lbs., there is nothing about how much weight these can carry ?
