4 GB memory card problem

Has anyone else experienced this? I bought a 4 GB memory card for my DSLR, and used it with no problems, but when I insert it into the card reader on my computer, the photos don't load. I took it out and inserted a 1 GB card, and the usual window popped up asking me what I wanted to do with the images on the card, but when I tried the 4 GB card, nothing. What should I be doing?

Alot of computer SD Slots will not read a "High Capacity" SDHC card.

Please give more details of your computer's card reader.

If it's a built-in reader, there's a good chance that you can download a driver update that will add SDHC support to the unit. (This was the case for my Dell E1705).

If it's an external USB reader, you'll likely have to buy a new reader that supports SDHC.

use an adapter or tether your camera to the pc. I find you get much much faster transfer rates with the tether. But, that's more dependent on your card reader.
