Ball Heads vs Pan/Tilt heads

I think I'll really enjoy a ballhead!

I have a Vanguard Ultra too with a ballhead. I use it with my Bigma and get good results if I am careful. I also use a 3 Legged Thing monopod with a ball head. I could not go back to pan head, especially for birds in flight.

You can use it, then put it back on Christmas Eve. I checked and my source says that is totally legit. You do have to re-wrap it though.

Not sure, I think it was just his service. He is a bit busy right now so they have this automated support system. Anyway, they said it was totally cool, provided you keep the box and put everything back, WRAPPED, on Christmas Eve.
