I believe that the question was directed to me.

Good reviews on the Watson; and more convenience for me to purchase, using PayPal. It also can be purchased to ship along with other items I'm ordering. I have no need for 3 batteries at all; and will only be using the spare, when my Pentax is charging; or if it runs down while shooting.

It's not choosing one over the other re/best; simply convenience.

Anyone have any experience with this brand:

Watson D-Li90 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 1800mAh) B-3704

I simply want a backup battery, but right now hate to pay double for the Pentax battery. And, yes; I know you get what you pay for, but this would simply be for backup while the Pentax is charging, etc.
I bought a pair of Watson batteries at the same time I bought my K-5iis, almost exactly a year ago, and like Steve have been using the Watsons in rotation with the original Pentax battery. I've found them reliable and holding a charge even for long periods in storage. In fact, I've found no difference between them and the Pentax battery at all, though it has to be said that I have not kept notes on how many photos I get with each before requiring a recharge.

Tamia, thank you! It seems I've made a good choice getting the Watson! It will be here next Thursday!

I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I'm also rotating a Watson with a Pentax one in my k5iis and I haven't noticed any difference.

Watson over Wasabi was a matter of convenience and availability for me- I wasn't able to find that 2 battery+charger deal for a reasonable price in Canada and was already making a cross-border order through BandH.

Same here. Not choosing the Wasabi had absolutely nothing to do with which one is better; rather simply convenience in ordering, for me.

Got my Watson replacement battery for my K3 yesterday. It fits the Pentax charger perfectly! Looking forward to seeing how it holds up against the Pentax. For half the price, I felt it was worth a try.

Thank you! From what I've read from those that have the Watson's, they seem very happy with them.
