I almost exclusively shoot with a wireless flash somewhere around me.

I have, however, never shot with my wireless flash in trailing curtain mode.

From playing around with it, I dont think I can do it.
I searched the forum and couldnt find an answer.

so....
do ya know?

I have a shoot tomorrow where I would really like to use an off camera flash in trailing curtain synch mode...thanks.

You can't, at least not when using the built-in flash as a controller. (I confirmed this with Pentax a while ago.) However, you may be able to do it when using a Pentax shoe-mount flash as the controller — not sure.

I never figured it out. The shoot starts in 8 hours. I dont think you can do it.
I'm just not going to use the sidelight for this one.
I dont really like the look of direct flash regardless of whether there are shadows or not but I think I can hang.....

I'm shooting for a 16x20 black and white canvas so I want it to be ppuuurrrrrr fect
