"L" bracket for K3 with 2 QR plates availability

Looking for an "L" bracket for K3 that will accomodate 2 QR plates. Does the RRS fit this need?

What sort of QR plates?
ArcaSwiss?
If so it looks like the RRS L Plate has two ArcaSwiss plates built-in.

Is this what you're looking at?

Yep, that's the one Bert. I'm looking for a way to have one Arca-Swiss plate (bottom), and a place on the side to mount a different type of QR plate that I have (non Arca-Swiss).

Interesting...
Using two different tripods?

No, one QR plate is for my B-Grip. This plate does fit my Sirui head, but not as well as I'd like. No problem changing the QR plates on the camera when I use my tripod, but last night happened to think of an "L" bracket to use both plates.

I see...
Wouldn't it hang funny from the side rather than bottom?

So you want one without built in QR plates then?
Can't think of any of the top of my head - sorry.

No, it would hang just fine from the side; as the side and the bottom/to top of camera both are right at 4".

The RRS plate has a screw hole to put another QR plate on the side but it is quite of-center.

Some Sunwayfoto L-plates have holes in the center of the side for another QR plate, I've found one for the K-5 (DPL-02) and one for the K-7 (DPL-04) but none for the K-3, maybe the K-5 one fits?

Good luck finding one

Hey thanks Bert! I'll look at the screw hole on the side of the RRS, and see if it might work.

Thanks, but I don't want a vertical shoot bracket, rather the arca swiss bracket on bottom of camera and the Din plate on the side of the bracket.

Because of Bert's suggestion, I've decided to give this one a try, it's a universal fit, so hope it will work ok on my K3.
