Same one as you Rodneyy, purchased for $4.46. Also got a corded Yongnuo remote for $4.82, since it has a nice sliding button to lock shutter for Bulb use. Under a tenner for both, delivered to my door.

Why pay ten times as much? Dunno.
I brought mine from lelong.com, I bip for it abt 10 bucks+ (including shipping fee)
This remote not only work in Pentax but Nikon, Canon, Olympus too. I use for my K20D is okay, I tested on K10D also fine. It allow more then 8 meter..

Generic multifunction mini-remote, bought for about $5 US at a local store. I put the remote on code search mode and clicked away until the shutter fired.

I didn't want the Pentax remote because it was just too small and I knew I would lose it in no time. This generic remote fits great in my big hands, it doesn't look like a TV remote (no number keypad), and only has a few other buttons.

You can AF with the IR. This is a function in the camera. If you enable AF with IR, the camera will focus and then fire.

Ivoire, how do you like the Roxsen remote?? I need a new remote with some reach to it and yours looks like it might fit the bill, and cheap too. Any recommendation on where to purchase?
