Need suggestion for a compact hand strap

Any suggestions for for a compact hand strap like the one shown in the pic. This is a Pentax strap but now unable to find online. Just bought another camera and need such a small but sturdy strap for it without using tripod socket.

Thanks

I make mine out of webbing.

Edit: can't seem to be able to upload a photo via mobile. Will do so later if you want.

In Canada or the US I would look in the lanyard and carabiner section of outdoor equipment stores like MEC or REI.

Is there a trekking or mountaineering store near you in Bangalore?

Perhaps this one would work?

It's what I'm ordering for myself sometime soon. Certainly inexpensive enough.

I use this one:

OP/TECH USA SLR Wrist Strap (Black) 6701062 B&H Photo Video

Have bought one for every Pentax DSLR I own. And it's very reliable and sturdy, doesn't chaff my wrist either.

Ooooh. . . That might be better than my suggestion. Bonus: It comes from a PentaxForum partner

Carol, that's the same strap I linked to at B&H.

I love mine, as I said, I bought one for every DSLR I own. Price is good too.

I hate neck straps, they tend to give me headaches.

Here's a stress test:

There are several more tests on the strengths of the OpTech connectors on the web. I've been using OpTech for many, many years, and have never experienced a failure of any kind.

I've never had a problem with my Optech's either. The connectors are secure, never had one come out of it's socket, either.

And not everyone is a DIY person. I'm not so I bought the OP/tech

I use this one on my LX7 and I love it. It feels great and it has a stainless steel wire attachment and is anti-theft (hard to cut).

That's what I typically use. I have them on several cameras and I like how you can take it off easily. Sometimes when shooting on a tripod the wind will blow the strap around so I remove it. My wife gets it out of the washer later on a regular basis. Holds up to that too.
