Anyone have experience with Oben tripods?

I am in need of a good sturdy tripod with a ball head.
I have looked real hard at this one.

Oben AC-2361 Tripod with BE-117 Ball Head Kit

Does anyone here have any experience with Oben? They seem to be a great value if they perform as advertised.
Any input would be appreciated.

I don't have a big Oben tripod like that, but I purchased one of their light carbonfiber travel tripods during a B&H Deal of the Day - I've been very happy with it. The ball head is extremely well made.

I have a carbon fiber Oben (CT-3461 with the BE-117T ball head). Mine works quite nicely. I've used it some with my 70-200 Tamron, and it seems sturdy-ish at that weight. With smaller lenses, it's quite nice. A heavier one would be more stable, but I wouldn't carry it if it were much heavier.

If you are going to use this in studio, or close to the car, the aluminum one is probably OK. If you plan on carrying it around, save up a few more dollars and get the Carbon Fiber one. I had a 6 pound tripod and never used it because it was too heavy to carry around.

I plan on using this for studio and wedding work. It will travel in a roller case.
I have a travel tripod for field work.

I have a travel flat and a couple of their heads. They seem solid and no complaints from me. I never owned any brand name, high end tripods for comparison though.

I have the Sirui K-20X ballhead and Sirui EN-2004 tripod. I have used the combination with my Sigma 150-500 and my Pentax 16-85 successfully. I know I am not commenting about Oben, but just wanted to mention them because they are really well built and styled.
