$20 "Pelican" style hard case at Sam's

I thought I'd share this in case anyone was interested. Sam's Club (here in the US) has these hard cases for $20. They even have a middle layer that is "pick-n-pull" foam and a pressure vent. I loaded up on 5 from my store for camera gear, my DJI Mavic, and other stuff. They seem to be pretty well made. Probably not on the level of a Pelican or other expensive case but for $20 it's hard to pass up for what most people will use them for.

Sorry if this should be in a different forum.

thanks for the heads up

I picked up a couple after lunch

no double locks, all-plastic hinges and a few mils thinner case material
however they are an amazing value...pretty nice for 19.98 + 10%

Once you have your layout set and you pluck the foam, you can use plastidip to reinforce the foam so it lasts and is more rigid.

Tell us about this plastidip. The foam is really pretty flimsy and mine definitely needs it.

Just search for it on YouTube. The case above in the photo has been sprayed. Basically it seals up all of those gaps in the foam and adds some rigidity.

Here's a not so good cellphone photo that shows one of the cases I did. This one wasn't sprayed completely evenly but it's not as bad as it seems to look in the photo.

Here are a couple other quick photos of some setups I did for a couple drones. These cases are pretty deep and I actually figured out a way that I can get both of these layers into one case for my trip home for Christmas in a week. I wouldn't normally store stuff doubled up but for travel, when I'm going to carry the case as a carry-on, I wanted to get as much in there as possible.
