Fotodiox Lens Hood

Specifically this:

The hood seems well made and extends and collapses easily. It appears to vignette visibly and obviously on a 28mm lens on full frame (Spotmatic F with a 28/3.5 SMC Tak), is still visible at 35mm (Super Tak 35/3.5 on a Fujica ST705), and is JUST gone on the 55/2.0 SMC Tak fitted to my S1a; I could not perceive any notable vignetting on an FA28/2.8 fitted to an *istDS and then to a K-5.

What positive effect it has, I shall soon find out.
