Nest Gimbal!!

Just ordered a Nest fiberglass Gimbal! I was debating about pan heads, and decided on this beauty. It will be here next week!

Let us know what you think, it's out of my price range atm but definitely something I would consider once I get a bit more serious about my photography.

Nice
That would DEFINITELY help with the handling of my DFA 150-450mm That is certainly a more attractive price than the Wimberley piece.

Thanks for the info !!
This is just what the doctor ordered instead of the more expensive Wimberley.
Looking forward to your review with this !
Cheers!

I like my NEST tripod quite a bit. I'm curious how this works out.

Hey Uncle V; didn't know you had one! I've got a ballhead that I do not like using with long lenses; so I think this will be just the thing for me.

I have the tripod but not this head. I have a couple of heavy duty ball heads... but I rarely shoot anything on a tripod with long lens except the moon. So movement is easier to lock down and less need for quick pivoting.

The tripods look really nice also; but I have a Sirui that I purchased last year, so I can bypass that!

The nest is a bit much for something I'm only going to use in the field a few time a year. But my $70 Bieke gets used on my Sirui tripod for my feeder shots.

Ok thanks. I decided to bite the bullet and go for the NEST; plus it was nice to buy from a dealer in my State.

My NEST gimbal has shipped, and will be here Monday!

Excited to see it, and put it to use. I'll be posting photos of it!
