BL K10D question.

Hi again.

I stumbled across this custom bracket (BL K10D), and - as I could find no other info on it - wondered what it was for.

It's a specialty quick release 'plate' for Arca type mounts/heads. It allows a rapid horizontal to vertical (and vice-versa) aspect 'flip' of the attached camera.

Good enough ~ and thanks. I had just wondered if it might be something that would be worth adorning my good little friend with .

It's all about balance. You buy some of these and your bank balance feels suddenly lighter...

Aside from the obvious expense, Arca ball head are some of the very best camera accessories world wide. If you are serious about birding or landscapes, or architectural photography one or more should be high on your 'must have' list. The also supply some truly heavy-duty lens mounting equipment-say 500mm and greater and they did carry at one point some panoramic heads that gave precise motions to aid in the stitching process.

Prosperity and happiness to you, friend.
