Skylight Filters

Skylight filters used to be marks 1A or 1B, however the more recent ones I have bought are not marked either way so what are these ? Are they just deemed to be all 1A now on the basis that a modern dSLR would compensate anyway ?

Hoya seems to make only the 1B now:
HOYA | The Difference is Clear

They suggest that is "reduces the excessive bluishness that frequently occurs in outdoor color photography" by removing a bit of the green spectrum. The 1B is only offered as a General Filter; the superior ranges (Pro1, Fusion) don't include one.
