I would love the tripod to be light, but I don't want a small one, I want a sturdy one for my landscape stuff) Vanguard looks good so far, thank you!

I has been using this one, c5i for 2.5 years already?
it is a very strong and steady tripod. it is not carbon-fiber. they got a place to screw in a hook at the bottom of center column which I has always been using it for multiple exposure photos. and all 3 legs can do 180 flip. can also be converted to monopod. check it out. you might even get a cheaper deal from amazon or ebay.

I have this one, with a Gimbal. I absolutely love it; light weight to move around, but very steady with camera/lens. I have a Tamron 80-200 F2.8 which is a little heavy, and it handles it beautifully. Mine is now discontinued, but they show the replacement. Note, that mine do have the twist locks; 3 per leg, but for me I prefer those to the levers.
