Certainly could lead to a few new lens purchases.

I personally can't think of many instances where I wouldn't be taking a significant chance of bumping a side-hung unbalanced set of lens against something that causes damage. There might be some fringe case where it might more helpful than potentially harmful I suppose.

Nifty but I can imagine the dust accumulating in there after several lens removals/reinstalls.

need two or you would be unbalanced

nice concept but impractical, the weight would be carried at the best spot, off of your hip but what about the drag on your belt/pants. some of up have enough problems with our pants slipping down without adding more weight to the belt.

IMHO, YMMV

guess I'm still stuck with thinking in advance and hoping that I have guessed correctly about what I will need

Maybe buy one as a collectable - they will probably be out of business in six months.

As gatorguy mentioned, this would scare me to death with some of my precious lenses hanging out their by their mounts. A good bump and best case, the mount alignment would be history. Worst case could be a lot worse. Not on my buy list.

Since I don't belong to, nor wish to join Facebook, I cannot view the page because a huge notice about Facebook covers it. I clicked on "Not now", as far as joining, etc., but the notice remains. No "X" to remove it. Another reason I will never join Facebook!

From what little I could see, I think the idea's good, but looks like it would be very awkward walking, with it.

One good bump with the lens attached to the body could make both the lens and body mount alignment history too.

No more awkward the having two or three bodies and lenses slung over your neck and shoulders or a fanny pack/holster style case on your hip.

Your lens cap can collect dust in your pocket or camera bag too.

Since as Robert52 says it probably doesn't come in K-mount so does it matter?

Neat idea though. Sales will tell.

Well, at my age, my photography does not include two or three bodies and lenses, as I take walks. I use a clip on a belt to hold the camera and lens, and take maybe one extra lens in a fanny pack type bag that protects the lens from dirt, rain, etc. I also have a cover that slips over the camera & lens while walking. Works for me. When I say this new lens holder looks awkward for walking, indeed it would be for me; whatever works for others, great!

I prefer Peak Design's Capture Lens system, although it's not available for Pentax as of yet. I've seen it in action and it works very well.

Dust should not be more of a problem than any other lens cap. And dust is easy to clean, either on the holder or the lens.
