I agree with the majority of posters, price of memory cards have drop a lot. If you can find a good deal on 4GB cards, I'd get them. For example right now Best Buy has PNY Optima 4 GB cards, 2 pack for $30.00 or for the same price you can get a 8GB card. I think the Optima series is similair to the SanDisk Extreme series. Just my 2 cents worth.

As cards are now relatively cheap, I recommend you buy the best you can.

I carry at least four 4Gb Sandisk Extreme III (SDHC) cards all the time, never had a problem.

If your images are important like mine, treat yourself, you won't regret it.
