what about this + UV filter.
I have never tried it but I thinking of doing it the next time it rain.

Food wrap is surprisingly unwaterproof. Layers with small gaps and creases = perfect capilliary action. Then once the water is in, the air doesn't get to it and it can't dry off. Anyone who has dropped...um...water-sensitive matter wrapped in film...into a puddle will attest, it's useless.
