I have been using the Lexar High Performance micro cards in my dash cam. They have performed great. They are rated for something like 2,500 overwrites. And each card holds about 8 hours of driving time.

Any Lexar Cards I have used have always worked as advertised.

Yeah, I've only used Lexar since 2001 and never had a problem. I still have Lexar CF cards from then that I'm reusing in old musical instruments without a problem.

Great...I purchased a Lexar memory car reader a short time ago. The only cards I use are either SanDisk or Lexar....well guess that means SanDisk now.

Longsys a maker of SSD's from China. Hopefully they didn't just acquire the brand but also the patents and the production contracts. Otherwise Lexar will just be a name on mediocre Chinese cards.

"Neither Micron nor Lonsys have shared any financial details about the acquisition, but for now, it sounds like Lexar will not only continue to exist...
it's about to start growing in a big way."

Longsys acquired the brand and Trading rights for Lexar. That tells me nothing about the technology or production facilities or service. They might as well put the Lexar name on their mediocre Foresee products. We don't know yet.
