Mountainsmith Tanack 10L Lumbar Pack

Anyone have one of these? I want to get a waist pack to carry my K3 + 70-300 lens. Any other suggestions are appreciated. I need one that is 11-12" long.

mountainsmith makes nice gear

I personally like using lumbar packs
with a heavy load I do like a suspender harness to distribute the weight

back in olden times I would use a single crossbody strap so that I could swing the bag for easier access
now, i'd rather be comfortable

Thanks! This would be used for short walks, etc., not long haul.

I have waist packs, but can seemingly wear them anywhere around the waist - front, back, or side. I don't have a shoulder harness for mine but it would be nice when they've got a K5 and 3 or 4 lenses stuffed inside (especially when one of them is that 60-250.) Mine are discontinued Tenba and Tamrac models - plus I have an old Spiratone that needs one piece of padding replaced. For longer hikes I'd strap the Spiratone to the bottom of the frame of my frame pack - very comfortable.
