Originally posted by dutch Hey guys, i was wondering if there is an easy way to plug the k20d into an external hard drive via usb and just copy the files over? If not that would be a lovely feature pentax!
I know about those portable storage systems with the display and interface, but I've already got an external hard drive I've using for normal computing that I'm planning on taking on vacation for 3 weeks.
If not the easiest way is probably just to hit up an internet cafe and use a pc? Any other suggestions?
check out the Venus GoGo. Yes, I know it's a lousy name.
But it does exactly what you ask for. It even has a built in lithium battery to power it up.
Amazon has it for 50$ here:
Amazon.com: AMS Venus GoGo DE-211GU - Storage enclosure - IDE - Hi-Speed USB - silver: Electronics
I bought mine at Frys for $30.
