Mobile D-LI90 and D-LI109 charger

After getting the grip for my KP, I got a bigger D-LI90 battery to solve any extra energy needs.
I also needed a new charger, preferably a USB one.
I ended up finding this one, a bit of a coulomb egg idea, with movable connector pins, it works with the D-LI90 and D-LI109 pentax batteries and many more, tested Canon Olympus and Samsung. It uses 12v or 5v USB power, witch makes it very versatile, I use it with a solar panel a 12v battery.
It has the quality stamp of "works for me"

Would a Coulomb egg be enough to charge a battery?

In a similar vein, has anyone tried USB chargers for the LI-90 or LI-109 such as this one or that one? (I link to versions that ship with two batteries, but you can also get the chargers by themselves BTW.)

All the versions I'm finding show an EU plug on the ac adapter - is this removable it looks like an add on plug adapter. Is there a USA style plug under it or do I have to use an adapter?

I recently looked at those, but ended up buying a smaller 1-cell "slim" USB charger because I wanted to team it with a compact USB battery pack (an Anker PowerCore 10000) so that I could charge a camera battery on the fly in my backpack. I intend to write a review when I have had more time with it, but so far, I can say:

1) It's a generic Chinese charger and was designed for more than one battery type, and did not have a notch for the alignment pin (I guess that's what it is) on the D-Li109. I cut my own notch (the charger cost less than ten bucks, so why not?). I'm also going to make an elastic loop to hold the battery in place while charging.
2) It's not a rapid charger, which I am okay with, as the batteries have not gotten noticeably warm while charging.
3) It took about three hours to charge a '109 that had been sitting around for several months and showed as fully depleted.

This guy has a USA plug, but a common 1A 12v adaptor should work.

I bought this one USB-Charger for Pentax D-Li109 / K-30, K-50, K-500, K-r: Amazon.co.uk: Camera & Photo . Works well and is cheap.
