AC power supply 167 for k1 II or 132 version

Are the AC power suppliers 132, I have, and 167 the same? I am planning upgrade of k1 to K1II. If not, what is the difference? Brick looks alike. Plug into camera, is it the same?
Thanks,
RONC

I am pretty sure that the K-AC167 is intended for the KP.

Edit: Though the K-1II manual says K-AC167. I understand your confusion! Also, Imaging Resource mentioned it too.

It's my understanding from previous posts on the subject of AC power supplies is that they are all compatible across all models. I don't imagine that changing for the K-1ii since it uses the same battery as other models.

Steve,
Thanks for the response. You are the first person to understand anything about me. Especially my confusion.

The amazing thing is that the item appears to not exist. I could find no listing outside Ricoh Japan's Web site and no photos to speak of either.

Sounds like just getting the 132 would make life a lot easier. The designations change over time, but power specs really haven't

I think that they changed the plug but am not sure. The 132 is a short round plug like headphone but the 167 seems to look like it is square like printer usb plug but smaller. That doesn't leave a choice. Some one have KP, please look at it's shape.

Thanks and greatly confused which is becoming my normal state.

Looks like the same Hirose rectangular plug that's used on all the bodies with power jacks. The ones without use an adapter that replaces the battery.

Thanks. You put that to rest and I won't be confused about it for at least a couple of days.

So if you pay to upgrade a K1 to a K1 Mark II, can you still use the old AC adaptor for the K1 (K-AC132U)?

I believe now that the two power supplies are equivalent. I was told separately that part numbers change just because of changes of the regulators changes. I guess he meant safety regulations. I will update my K1 and try my ac132U as quickly as I can.

To add to the confusion.
Ordered K-AC something and received D-AC120. Works great from K7 and up... Go figure.
