Whatever gets a light where you need it and doesn't get in the way. Ball bunges and super clamps Impact Super Clamp with T-Handle CC-106T B&H Photo Video can attach a flash in a tree. I have a couple diy over the door brackets and several thrift store tripods i use with bare and bounce flash when i don't need a light modifier. Tripods are also good for clamping gobos to when you need to limit where the light goes.
