Tripod Holder?

I was randomly browsing PF (as you do) and came across this thread which had this image;

That's the first time I have seen a 'tripod' holder, and I don't think it's actually included in the sale lol, it's just a belt right... showing what could be attached etc;

I'm curious tho, I can't find anything like that, a tripod holder I mean. I already have a 'camslinger' with various pouches that stem off from it, but nothing that really holds a tripod well.

What term should I even google for? I've tried 'tripod holder' or 'tripod sleeve' and things like that, I can't see anything on B&H like that... hmm... looks very handy, HULK WANT!

I'd be looking at toolbelts rather than camera gear - you'll get better quality for the same price - that pouch looks like a modified hammer loop

I know Gitzo make a Monopod Holster,

Gitzo monopod holster, Series 1-5

Maybe the guys at VanBar might be able to get you one.

I bought a few years back a Lowepro AV kit, that had something that I have used to hold a small tripod, , It was a fold out Microphone pouch, fitted in my small slik tripod, also had a just a hoop like unit for headphones, that I could hang items on, they both had the Lowepro attaching system on them.

This is the only pic I can find at the mo, You see the mic in the pocket, and the loop at the other end. Don't think they are available anymore sorry.

Excellent suggestion, I might just do that because then I can get my hands on one immediately rather than wait a billion months for something to arrive from China

That's one of the problems is that many solutions seem based around the monopod and not tripod. Thanks for trying!

Thanks for that! Searching with the Australia ebay wasn't coming up with much, even putting in the item number from your links in the advanced search was coming up empty, however just copying the title of the tripod one gave me a successful hit, $16AUD (including shipping) the only problem is it's one of those 2-8 weeks waiting/delivery time...

I'll try my local hardware store first, and then if nothing presents itself workable probably grab that and wait it out...

Cheers everyone!
