I recently got some old Hoya filters, there are at least 3 logo variation, art deco font, ordinary looking font, and currently ones that have an H where the horizontal line goes over into the O.
Is there any info anywhere about how to date Hoya products by their font?

It's not something I need to know but it's interesting, and in the interest of getting to 40k I figured I'd make a topic.

This IS an interesting question. I am always fascinated by the various ways we can date our equipment. If nothing else it is fun to speculate on the changes and reasons why.
