That is a good price. Got mine for $30 up north here. The fit is a bit tight though on my K10D.

Might have "had" them for that but they don't have them now.

yep - but the point is, unless you need that 8gb right now - you will get in a 1-2 weeks for $10.

I had 2 Kingston 2gb SDHC cards, class 6, and I have to say they were the slowest cards I've ever used. My old 1gb Sandisk class 4 card was faster than them by a substantial amount. I haven't touched their stuff since giving those cards away. I've got 2 transcend 4gb cards now and am very happy with them.

It did not last long, but I got 2 of those Transcend 8g/reader, and 1 16g/reader that was cheaper than the card alone...

Already have a reader, so now I'll have 4....

1-2 weeks for some folks isn't worth $10 bucks.

I ordered the Transcend 8 gb HCSD from Amazon the other day, with the reader, and I believe the shipped price was around $20, should get it tomorrow, will report back on how it performs....

GBs are solitary creatures. Cramming 8 of them together is bound to cause unforetold problems as they try to escape.

I received mine today, and it works, 489 ( I think ) raw files will fit on it, and 1629 jpegs, haha. So far so good...Hopefully I can get out this weekend and take a lot of shots with it, and see how it performs.

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!

Beware: The streets are loaded not only with conterfit Louis Voiutton (?) and Rolex watches. You will be amazed on how many bogus products are out there, from scotch tape, to t-shirts, to auto parts, perfumes, etc.

Remember: Anything that sells good or has a good brand name, is bound to be conterfitted and sold at "great" prices.

Online vendors are especially prone to this practices. Most of the times even the vendors do not know they are dealing with counterfit stuff.

I bought mine from Amazon, so i am not the least bit worried about it being a counterfeit...But I don't think I would buy anything like this off of eBay.

I used the card to shoot some photos at a 25th Anniversary party last Saturday, and it performed well. Seems to have been a good deal ( so far ) Time will tell...
Here is the couple of honor I wish I was more proficient in PSE 3, would loved to have been able to clone the reflection of my flash off of the window behind them.
