Looking for AF-540FGZ Service Manual or Specs of Screws

I need to replace a couple of missing screws that hold the bottom plate (which includes the hot shoe moulding) of this flash to the bottom of the flash body. I looked for service manuals on pentax-manuals.com, Camera Manual Library (Free camera instruction manuals, camera instructions, free film camera user guide, camera manual, camera instruction manuals,Â* Canon camera manual, Nikon camera manual, Ricoh camera manuals, Sears Camera Manuals, PDF camera instruction manuals), these forums (found this: Service manual for 540 flash? - PentaxForums.com), and Google. However, this search has turned up no service manuals -- only operator's manuals.

Does anyone know the size and thread pitch of those screws, or know where to find that info (e.g., the service manual)?

Edit:

I came across a parts list for this flash for sale by US Camera (https://uscamera.com/product/pentax-af-540fgz-parts-list/). It seems to be a printed copy rather than a PDF.

Edit #2.

It turns out that the manual is a downloadable PDF. I paid for it (US $7.99) and downloaded it. The Pentax part number is "Y806" and the accompanying description is: "Screw F 2x5". The Pentax part number might help if Pentax were willing to sell parts to the general public. The description doesn't mean anything to me. If I search ebay for "JIS screw 2x5" the search returns screws that are obviously too large to use on a flash unit. Any ideas on how to obtain replacement screws?

Try searching on M2 x 5 screws (Metric 2mm x 5mm). Thread pitch should be standard to the diameter (2mm). If you have one of the old screws and a good set of calipers measure the diameter and length.

2mm should not be too large as 1.7mm is pretty much the standard diameter that is used on Pentax lenses and bodies.

The ordering part numbers are always the product number (5 digit number) - part number from the list. The product number should be on parts list downloaded. The parts list should list compatible/interchangeable product-part number combinations. The example given above by alfa75ts 65864 is the product number.

Those look like M2 × 5mm pan head machine screws to me. I've never found a source for JIS screws, they are probably not available except Business-to-business in Japan.

If you can't find them in 5mm length you can always cut/file them down from a longer length.

Thanks, yes, I found that too (2 screws for US$4.34). But the cheapest shipping is US$29.25! (1st class, international, registered mail.) I sent them a message asking whether they can ship it by a cheaper method. We'll see whether they will bother to reply. I once ordered a part for a Manfrotto 144 tripod from USCamera and they shipped me a part for a 190 tripod. This was despite the fact that the 190 was cast right into the aluminum part! The bag with the part was transparent so you could see the cast "190", and the bag was labelled "190", and they still got it wrong!

US Camera replied to my query after a few days. They pointed out that the cheapest shipping is not US$ 29.25, but rather US$ 14.95. They still didn't offer me any type of shipping cheaper than registered mail.
