I am planning to buy circular polarizer filter to use for vacation trip. Hoya PRO1D series is designed for DSLR. I can't seem to find equivalent from Tiffen. What would you recommend?

Ummm ... like most of my search results prior to posting here, that post is almost 2 years old. I was hoping to get a more up-to-date recommendation.

Well in my case there are two brands I trust without hesitation, Singh Ray and B+W kasemann MRC.

That is from my experience the two that works the best.
