360FGZ wireless mode.. questions?

I just picked up a 360FGZ and have questions about wireless mode. While the camera is on body the auto zoom works as well as the other settings that the camera relays, but when it is off body does none of the information get relayed from the camera? The LCD doesn't change the exposure level, zoom level (would it?) or seemingly anything else? Or does the LCD not reflect the last fired shots settings?

Zoom Head information does not carry over in wireless mode.

If you are using P-TTL, then exposure will be calculated during the preflash which occurs even in wireless mode.

The Flash Exposure Compensation on the camera body and the flash stacks, so if a whole scene is overexposed for example, you can just change the FEC in the body, etc.

As I understand it, Nikon's wireless flash system lets you control all of that stuff manually from the camera. Oh well.
