K200D tether usb Cam to PC cable spec?..

hello all,

can anyone please advise what sort of cable the micro usb is that connects a K200D to a PC by USB - for the life of me I cant find that detail....

many thanks Maw ... can i be lazy and ask if there is a linux program that will access the camera?

I don't know Linux, but certainly the operating system should recognize the connection of the camera via the cable that I reported to you.
If you're talking about photo processing software instead, surely you can use Raw Therapee and/or Darktable and Gimp, which are also free,
but I think you already know them! However the operating system is able to detect your camera as if it were an external drive, i.e. as a hard-disk
or memory card or pendrive.

Let me know if this was your request, or I misunderstood.

many thanks Mario - you got it right... linux can be a bit of a challenge but the UI might be easier than a valometer specially consider the cam is shooting from close to the computer.... be nice to change the dynamic range and other finer settings on the fly viewing them on a big screnn on the fly... thanks again

Just saw this thread so a late answer to the question earlier in the thread. Pktriggercord will work with the K200D for tethering. I have used it under Mint.
