Pentax SMC 67_55mm F4 on K1

I've just acquired a 55mm f4 P67 lens and i would mount it om my Pentax K-1.

I'm thinking to the ASAHI-PENTAX JAPAN ADAPTER K FOR 6X7 LENS :
neither obstacle on K-1?

"... In the mid section of the adapter is a large knurled knob. By rotating this you release friction on the barrel and the lens attached can be fully rotated. ..."

Best regards,
Ben

I use the fotodiox adapter that has a built in tripod mount -- it works perfectly well. Fyi -- the 55mm is one of my favorite lenses for infrared photography -- virtually no hotspot at any aperture. Enjoy your new lens!

Thanks travelswsage !!!! I've founded an asahi pentax adapter 67 for 100 euros, now i see this your fotodiox ...
Thanks again!

All the best!

Ben

Edit:
Casp! This fotodiox, here in Europe, is much more cheaper than a used asahi !
Is it?

Seems not to be in conflict with this "old" k100 D ; i hope it's the same with the protrudent K-1 pentaprism (i'm thinking at same problematics with some Sigma Art lenses ) ... @travelswsage do you use this fotodiox adapter with a K-1?

Perhaps because one brand of the adapter is still in production while the other is not?

Yes, certainly @tuco ... meanwhile i see that the fotodiox with tripod mount is different and, obviously, has a different price ...
Well the most important aspect for me is that there aren't interferences with the protruding pentaprism of the K-1...
