Binocular Neck Strap Question

Hello, I have Pentax U Series Papilio II 85x21 Binoculars. The neck strap connects to the binoculars with a strap clasp. You push in one half of the clasp on the binoculars themselves. The strap has a round piece that slides in and down so when you let the clasp pop back out, the strap is locked to the binoculars. It looks like I could remove the strap part from the part that has the round piece. That end of the strap where it connects to the binoculars is 1/4" wide. I'm looking to get a cushioned neck strap to replace this one and I'm having a hard time finding anything. I appreciate your help. Thanks!

Not sure I understood the description for your current neck strap. However...

I have used Op-Tech straps for a while, they are pretty good. I have then switched to Peak Design, I like their strap system better, the anchors are much smaller and convenient, the quality is superb. I would also advise to look into the possibility of using a Peak Design Capture Clip with the binocular add-on, it removes completely the need for a strap and it's much more comfortable. Peak Design's Capture Clip is the best accessory for photographers I've ever used.
