Thread size of Feisol CT3342 leg feet?

Anyone know what size the spikes are? Checking to see if feet can be fitted from a different system. I want combo rubber feet/spikes. Rubber foot would screw up to expose metal spike. Can't believe they don't offer this option.

Thanks,
barondla

Hmmm...let me see if my tripod is at home. Might have left it at work.

I believe mine is a metric M16 X 2. It is not the standard of other tripods

I presume you mean what thread size? Take whatever comes with it to your local comprehensive hardware store - they probably have a way to test nut and bold thread sizes (certainly US standard sizes, but maybe not metric as noted by Roadboat24). Home Depot has such stuff.

From what I can tell, 3/8"-16 is pretty much the standard. Wonder if these at B&H might work:

Steve - afraid they won't fit barondla's CT3342. Here's a comment from your B&H reference: "I had to send them back, as they would not fit my Feisol CT-3442."

You'd think they could standardize on this!!

Thanks Hmuehl and welcome to the forums. Lack of standardization will complicate finding a match from another brand. Might try fabricating something.

Thanks to everyone else,

I have a Feisol 3342 and the Feisol screw-in spikes, they fit but too tight, so I never use them, no worth the risk of breaking something of the carbon assembly when screwing in/out.

Just a thought... be aware that the thread can easily become both damaged and or full of muck. I use the ones like these on my Gitzos, where a rubber cap pushes on over the spike.
