Vanguard VT-128 tripod

I have the Vanguard VT-128. Is it possible to remove the head? There seems to be four Allen screws. However, I cannot unscrew them. Maybe, because I only have metric keys?

I don’t know your tripod, but if your Allen wrench doesn’t fit right get one that does or you may damage the screw heads. The screws probably have thread locker on them so they could be hard to break loose. Letting a bit of lubricant like WD49 soak in a bit may help too.

Where are those four screws?

Pictures would help.
