There actually is conductive 3D filament, so... Actually, I was just referring to the baffles -- I should be able to print something that will cover up the tubes.

There needs to be continuity between the female mount on the camera to the female mount rings on the tubes.

The painted/anodized surface isn't a problem if all seven electrical contacts are implemented … one of them is a ground/common

The seventh pin is the data pin, carries the lens info, No ground, no data flow. There's a ground wire in the bodies that connects to the bayonet mount on the body. People have broken this wire working on the mount and the mount won't work until the wire is reconnected.
