If anyone needs 8gb SDHC cards.....

woot.com has them available for today only at $10.99 each, plus $5 shipping to USA only. Max one can buy per order is three, so three cards will cost you $33 + $5 ship = $38.

That's a good deal if one can use three. Hope this is in the right place... maybe marketplace is where it belongs? If so I apologize!

These are class 4 cards, not the fastest in terms of data transfer. But my suspicion is that for my k100D a class 4 card might be overkill speed wise because the camera is not built to take advantage of class 4 or class 6 speeds. Has anyone figured that out?

That looks like a class 2 card, so it's both slower and more expensive than the woot offering.

If it's reasonable then it can't be a deal now can it? If something costs $40 and you find it for $30 then it's a deal. However when 8gb class 6 cards cost $12-$13 then $38 for 24gb is no where near a deal.

I thought is was a good, not great deal. I didn't buy any because I don't need them yet, but I will be looking for some as the price drops further.

Woot sold about 18,100 of them yesterday and I believe they probably still have several thousand that they will need to sell soon because they know prices are falling. So I look for them to dump the rest of their inventory at a reduced price within a month. But they will do it in one of their marathon wootoffs, so it will not be easy to pick them up.
