any ideas for a lens case for the SMC 500mm f4.5?

even a soft bag or something to stash with drybags

the original hard case wopuld be great

Hey rdrum,
I got a lowepro photo trekker aw backpack used from KEH and it fits nicely with plenty of room for my 300 f4 with a body and other body and lenses. A small body will fit mounted on the lens, but I think it might be too tight.

We found a bag in a photostore intended for lighting equipment. It is soft and not padded but otherwise fine as long as you're a bit careful.
