Will this M42 to K adapter work ? thanks.

Just bought my first M42 lens off of ebay. Will this work?

Be veryyy careful if any of your lenses focus stiffly...

What do you mean by if my lenses focus stiffly. Are you talking about the M42 lense I am buying, or are you saying using this adapter on my K10D can possibly do damge that I have to watch out for stiff focus with all my lenses.

I assume, the above adapter will allow for infinity focus and doesn't have the thick flange.

Yeah, it'll focus to infinity.

It's that the springs on the cheaper adapter have been known to fail...either flex or straight break...allowing the lens to do what it will. There are a few members on here who have experienced falls/catches.

Some adapters won't allow the lens to focus to infinity. I bought the Pentax brand adapter for my camera. Never had any trouble with it. Did with aftermarket though.
