Not a bad idea - I might just throw a couple coat hangers in the car just in case I'm out somewhere without a tripod...

Trinis have always kept a wire hanger in their car, for when some one they know locks their key in , now after all this time, i see that i have always owned a tripod, and only know found out how to set it up,
BTW can it use a ball head hahaha

That's uniquely creative. I applaud your ingenuity. My usual low camera stand usually turns out to be a pill vial - I think yours is a bit more sturdier.
