Recommendations For Remote Control for K20

I plan on doing some low light shooting out at Joshua Tree. I have looked at what Pentax has to offer and the tethered remote cord is too short for my purpose. On the internet I found this one "Opteka XL Remote Release Cord". Has anybody used this one and, if so, what is your input? Any other options available that has a timed release button on it? Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm not familiar with the Opteka.

I use a 2.5mm stereo extension M/F cable with the Pentax CS-205 remote. They come in varying lengths and are available at amazon for not too much.

FYI: most of the remote control threads are in the "Camera and Studio Accessories" forum. Lots of ideas there.

I second "jem". Get the Pentax. It looks nice, well built. Length is not a problem. You can go on line and find stereo extention cables all over. Just remember, you need 2.5mm. Female on one end and 2.5mm Male on the other. The source I used was "Your Cable Store", when I purchased mine. They have 3ft, 6ft, and 12ft long cables, black. You can get as far away as you like.
