Anyone Own One of these Tripods
Sounds pretty cool but only handles up to 20oz.

Well since even the DS is 21 oz w/o lens this is a no brainer. So basically it's only good for P&S cameras, which don't need tripods for the most part.

Guy I know from another forum bought a SLR Zoom Gorillapod for his Nikon D80 + Nikkor 18-200 - about the same weight as a K10D & 16-45 (just over kilo). He likes it but bought a Manfrotto (Bogen) ballhead for it because the head on it just wasn't adequate.
