advice on D-BG2 battery ?

Hi guys,

I am looking for the D-BG2 battery for my K10D. I found that ebay are selling that one for about 50-60$ from hong-kong.

1) Is it a good choice ? All button seem to be there... Or should i buy a genuine Pentax grip ?
2) will it work on a K20D ? because i saw another post about the pins number of the grip : https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/589750-post37.html, so i am not sure anymore...

This ebay buyer seem to think that it is compatible for K10d and K20d: ebay

thanks wwwmorrel for the heads up, but my question is more pratical than ethical if i can say that

But the grip mentionned by the OP from DealExtreme is not the same as the one i found, i think it is the one mentionned by crimmpuff (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/601267-post6.html)

The one i found seem good, but is there anyone who actually tried it vs the original ?

I'd go with the original, particularly since it seems the Ritz camera closings have flooded the market a bit. May as well be sure of the weathersealing and everything, though I'd say the knockoffs are a fair price for what you get, from what I've heard. There was also a whole thread about these not too long ago, couldn't have scrolled down too far.

what about the compatibility for K10d & K20d ? this guys like i said seem to think that there is a difference of pins for the model D-BG2 and D-BG3 ? So if i buy the D-BG2, it won't work on a K20d ?

d-bg2 is for the K10 and K20

Thats what that post suggests? the bg3 is listed for the K200d
